INTRODUCING OUR ANIMAL FRIENDS

Is there anything I love more than animals? Nope. So no surprise, as soon as we moved to our new home about 10 years ago, we brought many furry and feathery friends into our life. Allow me to introduce to you our animal friends.

OUR GOATS

We have 4 goats; Finley, Clover, Bruno and Masie. Finely and Clover were born in 2018 and Bruno and Masie in 2019. We raised all of them from little babies and bottle fed them until they were about 10 weeks old. As a result, they are super friendly and amazing pets.

OUR BUNNIES

In 2017, I adopted my first rabbit, Oliver, from our local animal shelter. He was a Flemish Giant rabbit, about 20 lbs and the absolute love of my life (sorry Dan). Although he passed away in 2020, he will forever be in my heart and the bunny that started my love of pet rabbits. After adopting Oliver we were asked "to watch" a bunny who we named Bean and who never left and became Oliver's girlfriend. Then along came Mouse who needed a new home and became Susannah's bunny. After Oliver died, I had to get another Flemish Giant rabbit (my favorite breed) so along came Ziggy in 2021. Then finally, we saved Pepper from a life in the pet store and she became Ziggy's girlfriend after Bean passed away. So currently we have 3 bunnies: Ziggy, Pepper and Mouse.

OUR CHICKENS AND DUCKS

The first animal we added to our farm was chickens. Over the years we have lost and added many different chickens to our flock maintaining around a dozen chickens. Unfortunately as any chicken owner knows, they can be difficult to keep alive due to predators, mystery illness and old age. We also added ducks in 2019 and generally have about 5 at a time who have been an absolute delight to have on our property.
